Data partnerships
OpenAI, micro1 and Nyne data partnerships: what each asks and offers
Updated
Three of the buyers on this register run a programme they call a data partnership, and each sets out its own terms of entry on its own pages.

What OpenAI's programme asks for
OpenAI says it is interested in large-scale datasets that reflect human society and are not already easily accessible online, and that it can work with text, images, audio or video. Its intake form asks for an estimated data size and whether the organisation is a public company, a private company or a non-profit. It states no payment.
micro1's Enterprise Data Partnership
micro1 looks for operationally mature companies with 30 or more employees and asks for SOPs, knowledge bases, internal documentation, CRM data, project histories and QA processes. Its referral page puts approved data packages at $100K to $2M or more, and its programme pages say companies retain ownership of the underlying data.
Nyne's data partnerships
Nyne turns de-identified operational workflows into training data and wants 3 or more years of them from the systems teams use every day. It shows an estimated payout range on the page, and says the transfer and use of the data are covered by its agreement, with access limited to authorised teams.
Where the three differ
Of the three, only micro1 and Nyne put money on the page, both set a headcount floor, and only OpenAI says it can take data in any modality.
